I wonder if the departure from this marketing trend can be tied to the decline in auto sales of American manufacturers?
How sad, when I look at the American cars and European cars, I see why we're such a gas-guzzling nation. There wasn't a single small car in those ads. Not blaming you, that was clearly the trend, and still is. While people came up with cute and sporty small cars in Europe, all we had here were huge monsters. Seems like the folks in Europe had more fun.
You're right, the girls are quite lost in the same frame with huge american cars - you can hardly see them in a photo :)
I love this post. That red and black 1959 Ford Fairlane is the exact car I have parked in my driveway. I have been restoring it for the past year. Great pictures!
